steps to ensure that every Touch of Healing massage is a safe and relaxing
All our masseuse and masseurs have completed hundreds of hours
of massage training and are fully licensed and certified.
We verify that all therapists are fully insured with protection policy.
This guarantees that both the client and therapist are cared for.
We care about the safety of our clients and therapists.
That’s why we require clients to make booking information before
every massage and conduct background checks on all therapists.
Whether you have questions about the site, re-scheduling of your
booking appointment, or massage in general, our concierge team
is available 24/7 via email and online chat.
Our secure platform ensures your money gets to the therapist—that’s
why we always ask you to just pay the booking fee through our site
to guarantee you a protected transfer of funds.
After every appointment, clients and therapists can provide anonymous
feedback about their experience. Our Trust and Safety Team reads every
review and will quickly reach out to ensure any dissatisfaction is addressed.
By using our site from booking to post-massage transactions, we’re able to
ensure a safe and secure experience from beginning to end. That’s why
we always ask you to pay the booking fee directly through our site.
Health and Cleanliness
Our masseuse and masseurs are trained professionals and maintain high
standards of hygiene by keeping hands and materials clean and using fresh
linens during every appointment.
24-HOUR CANCELLATION POLICY
We are a small business, and fill up fast! That’s why we have a 24-hour cancellation policy, so we’re counting on you to let us know in advance if you can’t make your massage. In the event of a late cancel or no-show, then you are responsible for the full cost of your session. To cancel, change, or reschedule your appointment, please email us at email@example.com. Please note that “not confirming” does not equal a cancellation. You must email us in order to cancel/change your appointment.
Getting called into work last minute, a family emergency, or “something came up” may result in the cancellation fee being charged (depending on the cause, of course) that is why we charge for a reservation fee. We understand that things happen, and we don’t want to add any extra stress to your already stressful life, so we thank you in advance for your patience and understanding in order to ensure that your therapist is still compensated for the time that they set aside to dedicate specifically to you.
We do send out automated reminders by email, so you’ll get a reminder the day before your massage. However, technology isn’t always 100% reliable so it is ultimately your responsibility to write down your appointment in your calendar and contact us if you need to cancel or reschedule! Our new community policies to promote safety for all.

We are doing our part to keep our entire Touch of Healing community safe. Please review the following updates to our policies and protocols, which are designed in accordance with health administrators, to protect both our clients and therapists as we move forward.
For our Massage Therapists:
Keep our community symptom-free
Therapists experiencing symptoms are taken out of rotation until they have been asymptomatic for at least 2 weeks
Therapists who have knowingly been exposed in the past 14 days will be temporarily taken out of rotation and self-quarantine
Active therapists will not have traveled internationally within the past 30 days
Wear a face mask that covers the nose and mouth while on duty
Sanitize all equipment with a broad spectrum cleaner upon arrival and between appointments
Provide fresh, laundered bedding, or use client’s own sheets if they prefer
Wear fresh clothes and change between sessions
Wash hands before physical contact with the client, upon arrival and beginning of the massage
Place used bedding immediately into a separate compartment or sealed plastic bag after the session is complete
Provide follow up information through accountability surveys from Touch of Healing Trust & Safety
Touch of Healing will apply contact tracing procedures in case of exposure
Submit to annual criminal and background checks
For Our Clients:
When you book a session, please:
Shower before your appointment
Have a hand towel ready to sneeze or cough into, or wear a face mask that covers your nose and mouth
Offer to use your own freshly-laundered sheets if you prefer
Provide a kitchen sink, powder room, or bathroom for the therapist to wash his/her hands
Refrain from shaking hands until both you and the therapist have thoroughly washed your hands
Keep children and others 6 feet away from the massage table and the therapists’ belongings to follow social distancing protocol
Keep your pets out of the room/away from therapist’s equipment
